   Who we are and what we do:

 

   Lutheran Advocacy Ministry in PA (LAMPa):

 

  • Advocates on behalf of, and in partnership with, those persons who are  denied justice, dignity, reconciliation, peace, and access to basic human rights, and who lack adequate representation and voice in the arenas of public policy

  • Leads discussion forums on current social issues and public policy to help Lutherans understand the connections between faith and daily life

  • Provides training for Lutherans to become better advocates for justice

  • Is one of 20 state public policy offices of the ELCA throughout the United States

 

ELCA World Hunger and Lutheran Advocacy Ministry in Pennsylvania are partners in advocacy work to promote state public policies and action for social and economic justice relating to hunger in PA.
