We have received many letters for our 2008 Anti-Hunger Advocacy campaign, and we’re looking forward to receiving many more.  To enable you to continue efforts in your congregations and organizations, the deadline for this initiative has been extended until JUNE 6, 2008.

• 162,000 Pennsylvania households are food insecure. 

• Grocery store food prices increased at an 8 percent annual rate in 2007, and food and gas prices have been increasing significantly this year.
