At the end of last month, we sent you the Announcement below. LAMPa's faith inspired vision of health care website has just been updated with three new resources centered around the first of four faith inspired reform principles: Inclusivity.

Remember, our goal is to flood the offices of Senators Casey and Specter with personal letters about the need for reform based on the four faith principles.  Now is the time!  Sample letters can also be downloaded from LAMPa's health care page.

Announcement!

Health Care is not just an issue...it's a Faith issue

This Summer, LAMPa is partnering with the PA Health Access Network (PHAN) and the PA Council of Churches Ministry of Public Advocacy to help educate our congregation members that NOW is the time to raise their important voice in the national debate around Health Care Reform.

Follow this link to go to LAMPa's Faith Inspired Vision of Health Care page where you can download a newsletter article, bulletin insert, and promotional blurb that will help educate members of faith communities on four important principles of Health Care Reform:  Affordability, Accessibility, Accountability, and Inclusivity

This month's materials are designed as an introduction to our Faithful Reform campaign.  Look for new materials each month throughout the summer!  Our goal is to flood the offices of Senators Casey and Specter with personal letters about the need for reform based on the above principles.  Sample letters can be downloaded from our website.

Also helpful is the ELCA's Social Statement on Health Care "Our Shared Endeavor".  Go to the ELCA homepage (www.elca.org) click on "What We Believe" and then "Social Issues".  If you have any questions or require any additional resources please contact that LAMPa office at 717-545-3500 or lampa@lamp.org
